MicroCounter 1.00 Freeware

MicroCounter is a tool for automatic counting of objects such as bacterial colonies from an JPEG image. Typical usage is counting bacteria from a an image taken from a microscope. Very easy to use and gives accurate counts with an option of manual correction for better precision.

The most important thing when counting with MicroCounter  is uniformity and contrast of the background relatively to the colonies or bacteria. MicroCounter doesn’t count clumps of cells or  various big spots (larger then a single colony).

Counts are better without plate edges.
