Modern Science : At Short glance
Often figuring out who said what is much more complicated then studying nature. Unfortunately, this kind of research occupies most of the time of many scientists, whose contribution is often by ways to avoid citations of others, or hiding information, as part of some inner rivalries.
Absurd as it sounds, especially for a sector which is being directly financed by charity, government and students payments, who are in return used as a cheap and qualified working personnel.
Conservatism as a phenomena in science : As the elder generations achieve more and more influence as scientific critics and top positions in the university, and with the decrease in their ability and desire to learn anything new and/or share the important work with the younger generations, science becomes more and more conservative, until the level it is actually walking behind the other sectors.
Rivalry between scientists causes them to hide information, and to initiate a sophisticated more or less “ass coverage” techniques, to achieve their interests. All as part of a race after prestigious prizes.
The price is obvious : quality.
